Ok; what's next? from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

I am hopeful that 2025 is a year of discovery, fun, family and friend gatherings...but mostly, quilting!

Hey, it is what it is! I spent the bulk of my first month of retirement just relaxing, and that was good for me. Very little happened in the way of quilting other than tearing off the foundation paper from the Tattoo Quilt and adding sashing to the blocks. In the crafting area, I played with my ScanNCut and cut out names from vinyl for each of our granddogs and grandcats (and our own Jolene and Jedi) and adhered them to bandanas ...

I used one of the rulers from the RPOS from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

And it was fun!

Remember when I recently posted about my ruler collection? And I mentioned that when I was last in Houston for the quilt show Cindy and I invested in the Robin Ruth Mariner’s Compass rulers? And we were going to work together to learn how to use them? And it didn’t happen?

Lucky for us, last August a LQS offered a one-day class, and we signed up. It was a great class taught by Stacie, and I got a good grasp on the technique. We made an 8” mariner’s compass block and appliquéd it ...
